Yes. I like it. Used mainly for wedges, rolls croissants. Seems fine. If using for, say croissants start temp off low and gradually increase. They may burn if started too hot. Wedges etc bung them at whatever temp you want.

Not better than a halogen oven, which works in much the same way. Easier to use a halogen oven, bigger and cheaper.

I have a Philips AirFryer & an Andrew James halogen oven. I use the AirFryer every day, & the halogen oven maybe twice a week.
I much prefer the texture & flavour of food cooked in the AirFryer. And it's speed. In hindsight I regret buying the halogen oven.

Halogen ovens are sold as air-fryers too. As far as understand they both work the same way, the halogen oven uses a large glass bowl....

Got one when it was £30, use it quite often. It's really easy to use, has a 30min timer and the basket is large enough for two people. Frequently do chicken drumsticks in it, lovely and crispy just like frying it.

Not the same as halogen. Airfryer is cooked in a basket with a fan above. I find it cooks food 30% quicker than if I put it in the oven and makes the food a bit crisper. The fat also drips to the bottom. I would say an Airfryer is a bit like a grill and oven. It's somewhere in between.

Halogen ovens cook with a fan (and heat element) above a glass oven.... basically the same :-)
Not the same. Couldn't care less what the article says. I've been using both devices for nearly 3 years, so I know which is better from extended personal experience.
Everything from the AirFryer tastes better, looks more appealing, cooks faster. Steaks, Chops, Salmon, Chips, Fries, Pizza, Lasagne, Cannelloni, Vegetables, Toasted Sandwiches, etc, etc. Nothing has ever tasted as good when cooked in the Halogen oven
