Seems decent, can save 2.50 if you collect instore. This is the smaller and faster one. Great I you have kids and travel a lot!

I wouldn't bother with the Wii Mini and instead get a second hand Wii, it lacks the SD card slot making it impossible to move data between systems/backup data and you can't access the shop channel (even with a USB ethernet adapter).

I'd go one further than this and recommend getting the first gen of the Wii, featuring GameCube backward compatibility

if no SD slot then i assume it cant be modded? if not then the bigger one is better as can just stick your discs on a SD card or harddrive

AFAIK, you can't mod them because of this and the network features are completely removed.
The worst part is that they kept a USB port, so it would have been possible to retain access using an adapter, but I suspect they were more concerned about AP (they even admitted this is why you can't backup Switch saves, even though the web browser is how people are attacking it).
I'd still say it's a bad model even if you're 100% legit, unless you're ok with saves being stuck on the system.

Its good if your gonna play legit disc games, which to be fair are dirt cheap and softmodding and trusting kids not to mess up an external hdd and a usb loader is abit of a risk and a faff. Seems daft you cant access the nintendo eshop, you would of thought nintendo would want to encourage people to buy their overpriced games through every system possible. Nintendo need to be bought by someone with some intelligence, utterly bizarre decisions.

This.
Time and time again they seem to undermine their own success!

It doesn't have component support either, it's really a POS compared to the original.

The Wii is a fantastic retro console, Homebrewed it's even arguably better than a Raspberry Pi 3. This model negates all that however. Agree with previous comments on grabbing a 1st Gen Wii instead.

This is an absolutly useless model. It's only for playing physical disc Wii games only Pros. Cool colour scheme and design Wii motion plus red controller Maybe a collectors item Cons. Does absolutely nothing except play Wii disc games. Can't even expand the memory with an SD card

Spot on comments guys. How this device got released is anyone's guess!! I'm intrigued by the soft modding comment, is it a big faff?

Soft modding is so easy, takes about 10 mins. Use a tool called Hackmii - never failed for me on several Wii with varying firmware.

Is this the one without a component connection? It'll look like poo on a HDTV.
