Just checked 6 hotels & plenty of rooms available at all of them, shame that Liverpool is booked up, love the city

Their Wirral hotel is still very convenient for Liverpool City Center, almost as convenient as the Liverpool hotel just that if you are driving you'll need to pay for the tunnel toll into the city - they could probably do with re-branding that hotel actually so that more people are aware of it!
Good deal though overall

The Liverpool one is miles away from Liverpool City Centre. Okay if you're driving but to catch the train involves about a 15-20 min walk to the station nearby It's not a terrible walk, not too many hills and fairly residential for the most part but not something you'd want to do at 11pm say. Not sure about buses.
Regards food, the breakfast is buffet style but is generally quite good. A lot better than say somewhere like Travelodge.

Quite right, it's Whiston/Tarbock Green rather than Liverpool, about 30 minutes from the centre by car
Certainly needs a combination of trains and or taxis
Nice hotel though

Dinner included but not breakfast? Seems a rather strange deal.

Dinner is from a limited menu or you can get a credit for the bar menu. I agree that I wish they included breakfast but if you have someone who is a health club member they get discounts on breakfast I find, or you can add it on. They also charge extra for the pool / gym and children's pool hours are quite restricted. Apart from that I would say that their Sunday deal is better - two meals and a room for £50 plus brekky. Breakfast is a bit basic for a modern hotel, but it is OK
They've gone a bit self-serve for check-in, which the staff hate, but management seem to like the cost saving opportunities it brings. Better deals might bring them more business

Trust me, their restaurant food is dreadful. Have eaten dinner at 2 different hotels and both meals were very poor, as for the breakfast, what a joke. Lovely rooms, just go elsewhere to eat!

Problem is, we don't know you are telling the truth. More information please on why the food was poor. You need to be more explicit and give people a better understanding of why it was bad. This could be a deal breaker for alot of people. Thaks.

Clicked next available date & it jumped to £89!!!Then underneath it stated "FROM £89" so more charges to be added I guess ... not happy with that at all ...

I've hooked this for myself and a friend next Friday, we added breakfast and spa access on and it cos £89 in total!
An absolute bargain in my opinion...£44.50 each for a night in a hotel, a two course meal with prosecco, spa access for our stay and breakfast the following day! We struggled to find a spa day only for less than £30 each!
The comments regarding the food on Trip Advisor are hit and miss, but we're not fussy and I don't think you can scoff at this price anyway!
Really looking forward to our night away

That's apart from breakfast and two course dinner. Sounds like a good scoff.

At checkout do you need to add 2 £5 gym passes (for 2 people) or is it just 1 needed per room?
