Excellent price. I bought one of these (the model with timer and fan) last year and I have used it over the winter. The timer (in the model that has it) is mechanical and makes a bothersome noise.

Solid price, but these things don't heat rooms well IMO since the heat just goes straight up. The ones with a fan direct the heat horizontally and make the air in the room circulate, so they do a much better job.

Fan ones make room stuffy. And it blows dust around. AVOID

Looks like neither are worth buying then. All I'm saying is - we have both here and the radiator type doesn't heat a room, the heat just goes straight up.

What do you recommend except the normal home gas heating system? Oil filled heater?

Tottering on the edge of 300 degrees can't help myself, have some heat to go with the radiator
