If I'm on Vodafone now can I upgrade to this deal?

If you port your number out and then back in, yes. It would need to be a new contract or you wouldn’t get the Cashback.

If you are very well organised and good with paperwork then these cashback deals are worth a look, otherwise get the cheapest 'normal' deal. It's cheap so heat.

This deal looks pretty hot! Okay it looks a bit of a ball ache, but it's a great price. Should I go for it or Is there anything else that's worth a look?

I do this each year, porting out and back. That's a bit of a pain but the claim really is no trouble at all

I'm already with Vodafone.
I called up with this deal last week and was very upfront with them. Told them they couldn't match the deal I saw, but I wanted to stay as a customer. Instead of PAC-ing my number to a competitor, they've automatically set my number up to go to PAYG on the final billing day.
All I do then is take the new mobile number (given when I take the cashback deal) and port my number to it.
Maybe save you a bit of hassle?

I tried doing this as my deal ran out last month...seemed to have been barred by Voda, mobiles.co.uk say i failed the credit check! Haven't failed a credit check "ever" as far as i know...suspicious they don't want yo to take this deal more than once? I'm now with giff gaff and its happened twice.

People who are complaining about "the paperwork" need not worry. All you do is download your bill pdf from the vodafone website and then upload it to your mobiles.co.uk account and submit. It literally takes approximately 3 minutes and minimal effort. Set a reminder in your phone calendar for the months it needs to be submitted and voila! Cheapo deal.
