Alternative to WiFi. I've used these for tucking a Nas drive in my loft and wiring devices via ethernet in bedrooms
Apparently also available online thanks to poster, sgill84 below for pointing this out:
sgill84: Thanks OP, just ordered the Powerline Plugs. Worth adding to post that you can get these online as well, sign up as a new customer and use code SCSSEOAUG18 to get £18 off £60+ spend - code is for 'Grocery shop' but worked on my basket containing these products.

Good deal. Most shops are vastly cheaper than Amazon these days.

So true, Amazon have done an amazing job of fooling people into thinking they're the cheapest for everything, and usually when they do have a good deal on they are simply price matching somebody else.

I guess it is national, just picked one up at Bamber Bridge, still one left when I was there 30 mins ago. How do you tell if a deal like this is national at Sainsbury's?

Was £40 in Kettering yesterday - would have bought @ £25 ! Went back in and took the last one (labeled £40) to the help desk. Scanned @ £25. Cheers

How are these compared to the older style TP-Link adapters? They had a sleep issue that was never resolved and I would drop connection every few hours

Plugged one in today and pleased that it picked up the powerline adapters already installed which are Netgear.
