Not showing up on a search on CostCo's website

It's in-store only - which is a shame because there's an American Express credit for purchases on Costco.co.uk at the moment.
Was going to post this myself. Not sure whether to go for it or not.

Yeah, sorry, in-store only. I though by ticking the offline/in-store only tick box when posting the deal meant the deal would show as that and no link to the Costco web site would appear. Not sure what that tick box does

Thinking of going for the outlets/sockets you control rather than the adaptors, I know they need fitting but it feel s like a more permanent solution?

So long as you'd be happy removing them in a year or two. IoT when done poorly introduces obsolescence into devices that used to last decades. A plug socket from the 50s still works, but a device that only uses WEP or WPA will no longer work with most wifi APs. I'm not sure what the solution to this is but communication over powerlines has been a thing since the 70s and is still in use so maybe there's some solution around that?

Unfortunately, TP-Link don't have an IFTTT channel, which somewhat limits the native functionality of this.
I use a Belkin one for outside lights which automatically come on at Sunset, then turn off at 11pm, which is easy as Belkin do have an IFTTT channel.
You can use the custom Webhook applet in IFTTT if you need to, follow the below instructions to allow you do to it:
3: Configure the following: URL: wap.tplinkcloud.com Method: POST Custom Content Type: Content-Type: application/json Raw Payload: {"method": "login", "params": { "appType": "Kasa_Android", "cloudUserName": "", "cloudPassword": "", "terminalUUID": ""}} Then hit Send.
4: You should then get a result including Token ID ( "token": "YOUR_TOKEN_HERE")
5: Create a new request in Advanced REST Client with the following settings: URL: wap.tplinkcloud.com?token=YOUR_TOKEN_HERE Content-Type: application/xml RAW Payload: {"method":"getDeviceList"} Hit Send
6: You should return an XML formatted list of all your devices. Note down the "deviceId", also checking the "Alias" to determine which device you're looking at if you have multiple connected. Also note the "appServerUrl", which will be something like eu-wap.tplinkcloud.com
7: From IFTTT, select the "This" of your choosing, and select "Webhook" for "That".
8: Under "Make a Web Request", enter the appServerUrl followed by /?token=/ followed by the Token from Step 4. eg: eu-wap.tplinkcloud.com/?to…xxx
9: Other Details: Method: Post Content Type: application/json Body: {"method":"passthrough", "params": {"deviceId": "", "requestData": "{\"system\":{\"set_relay_state\":{\"state\":1} } }" } } NOTE: "state" can be 1 or 0 depending on if you want the trigger to turn the device on or off.
10: Save the Applet and enjoy.

I found the Belkin ones to be unreliable, kept becoming unresponsive. I have 4 of these and one of the bulbs for outside and I find these much better and more reliable. The app used to control them is extremely good and Amazon Echo functionality works an absolute treat.
Opening post
Costco Membership required, or get in with someone you know that has a Costco membership. Generally around £24.99 for one, this is for a 2 pack.
