Decent pump for the money, Halfords have them on offer for £29.99 with free C&C, although this is £21.98 (I know a whole penny) BUT is delivered as it's over £9. Red version

Great pump. I use it on car and motorbike as well with ease.

Too expensive. Similar was selling for £5 in Aldi. I did not buy as already got two bicycle pumps.

No it wasn't. The Aldi one is completely different. This is a very good high quality pump with a decent enough gauge.

I bought an Aldi track pump and the shaft bent on the very first use, utter rubbish. The one from Lidl seems much better nad still works well yet it is incomparable with Boardman I got from Halfords for £20 ( normal price £30,the one with a wooden handle, made by Lezyne I think, of superb quality).
Topeak stuff is good and there are no problems to get spares if required.

All the mug buyers are desperately trying to justify the rip off Britain £22.00. I've had a Lidl £5 one for 3 years, used regularly for 3 bikes

The Aldi one is still active @ £5.99, if you're interested.
I've had both Aldi and SKS pumps, they do not compare to the Joe Blows. These are a lot tougher and will last for a lot longer.

I've had my SKS track pump since 1989 and it is still going strong. It weighs a ton and is built to last forever, with consumable spares easily available and cheap.
But for the last three weeks I've been using my £2 pump from B&M and that works well too.

I went with Halfords at 1p more so the missus doesn't question ANOTHER bike related delivery

Don't compare this calibre of pump with those from Aldi and Lidl. They are not the same. It's like comparing a Dacia with a Mercedes.

Do you mean that Halfords have them for £21.99, or that they'll price match?
Why do anyone not use footpump? Do much easier. Please enlighten me

My experience has been that 2 cheap pumps (not Lidl or Aldi, but in £10 bracket) have broken or been unreliable, whereas Joe Blow has just worked for last few years. I rate them

If so, I'll grab one on my way home from work.
