Don't know if this helps anyone or even if they are still there but I saw 2 of these (not sure if it had extra filters though) on the clearance shelf at Morrisons derby (meteor centre). £29.99.
I already have one and they are pretty useful.

It’s £20 for 2 filters. You need to change these roughly every 3 months. You should get one with the machine too so 3 in total. Great price and worth every penny when you’re up through the night.

Thanks a bunch! Knew there was a reason why I haven’t bought mine yet!!

I think the reason why it's reduced as there's been complaints about mould building up:
Noticed it reduced in ASDA and other places as well.
Still debating with my wife whether still worth purchasing but any parents that do buy it make sure you keep those filters clean!

Not doing the maintenance properly and using cheap filters was the main cause. Got one for baby #1 in 2014, just got it from storage from #2 and all pipe work is clean.

My wife and I have been using one for our son's milk for about a year now with no sign of any mould, or anything else, building up.
It's been absolutely invaluable for milk prep, especially at the beginning when we we getting up a few times every night to feed him.

We use this, change the filters frequently and descale it every so often. No dramas or issues. Been well worth the money for us

Genuine question, what does this machine actually do for you? How does it make it easier than boiling the kettle and putting in the required number of scoops?

It makes the bottle at the right temperature, rather than making it with kettle water which takes ages to cool down, pre-making and putting in the fridge (takes ages to warm up) or making and leaving room temperature (doesn't last long).

Get one. They are seriously good and a lifesaver during the night. You'll never go back to the kettle again.
ps we use the same method as this machine when we are out...we have a flask with boiling water for a 'hot shot' then add 'cool boiled water' from another flask. This means you end up with a bottle quickly with no cooling down/wait.

We thought ours was great for about 8 months then looked in back and was full of mould I changed filter correctly so think your lucky or not ..safe to say ours went into the bin ...not worth the risk
