Brilliant little trick here which EVERYONE in the hunt for some decent shirts should be aware of - If you search for "Charles Tyrwhitt" on google, it will then show you an ad for £19.95 shirts at TM Lewin.

Anyway, not everyone's favourite shirt brand, but I do like their fitting. Recently a CT Shirt buyer myself, but now moved to TM LEWIN. Grabbed myself a bunch on non iron fitted shirts :smile:

Tm lewin are a nightmare for targeted pricing. They send you a personalised voucher code, shirts are one price, you follow a link from quidco/topcashback to their site and shirts are another price, you log on and it recognises your account and shirts are a 3rd price and so on. They send me 20 vouchers like sweeties and ive never managed to spend a single one.

Tyrwhitt are currently doing 3 shirts for £55. No limit to which range either. I cannot say which are better.

There used to be a wee way to further reduce the Lewin shirt prices....
find a discount code (usually 10/15%) go through the normal TML website add one shirt and apply discount.
Once the discount is applied go back in via a different tab with the £19.95 link add a shirt at 19.95 then remove the original shirt you put in, the discount normally carries over.
Hope it still works.

Can anyone comment on fit versus Next? I fit 16" slim at Next and can never find other "off the shelf" shirts to fit as well. Never tried CT, but hear good things..!

TM Lewin and CT are very generous in sizing. If you're slim in Next then you'll always need the slimmest option in your chosen shirt at either of these two. Also, they come in a variety of sleeve sizes, which makes a difference depending on how you like to wear your shirt/suit jacket. Always pick non-iron. Get it right and they'll be sound.

Also, can anyone explain how all shirt manufacturers don't get done by Trading Standards for false advertising... "Non-Iron" my backside. "Easier" iron by a country mile, yes, but Non-Iron? Not a chance!

I ordered "slim" to try them, so will see what happens and can always send them back if no good and try again. Ties up £38, but easier than going in-store and trying loads out.
Valid point on non-iron - they are definitely easy-iron, but absolutely not how they are described! Just a shame the nicest styles (in my opinion of course) are the regular material.

Understand what you're saying about the style, but I always find that provided you're wearing something smart the shirts do look great and they are really good quality.
I wear a waistcoat most of the time in the office or for meetings, or at the very least decent cufflinks and a tie pin on a nice tie. I can vouch for the TM ties, although I wouldn't pay full whack for them, I just wouldn't justify the price.

Voucher code 'VCSEP17' gives you £10 off £100 (presumably until the end of September). Works along with the targeted advertising.
Also noticed if you Google the name of the tie you are after, you can get another advert link to it, which makes all ties cheaper (took the one I was looking at from just under £30 to just under £20). Unfortunately you can't combine this and the original offer. May be worth putting in separate orders or you can buy shirts in the way the OP posted and get 3 for 2 on ties and accessories depending on how many ties you are after.
