I only found out about this the other day when my son brought an Orange back from our local store. Usually, we have our shopping delivered so was unaware but it's been around since May...!

Shame, would be great if the others followed suit, maybe try a selection of veg.

Wow, this is news to you. You must be a bit of a yuppie. Been in my local store for ages, the kids love it, and are encouraged to pick some.

Hey far from it, just easier to get the shopping delivered, convenience and all that..

Whatever. Just seems a bit lush. I don't live in a world where my shopping is delivered, hence I found the free fruit in the store.

Most of my life we did as well, call it what you like, just fortunate that I can now afford it.

I used to get my shopping delivered, how is it lush! I didn't have a car and £1 delivery is far cheaper than a taxi and much easier than carrying loads of bags on a bus, still same prices as instore you just pay a small fee for delivery, which usually is cheaper than bus fare or taxi fare.

Are you for real, its no more expensive then going in to the store, I get a delivery pass for £5 a month, you most probably spend that on petrol getting there.

Can't please everyone, not when it's about 'their' world.

Not to mention all the money you save by not buying snacks that you dont need like Oreos or toffee popcorn. Costs me 7 quid a month for deliveries but I easily save twice that by not buying unnecessary crap!

Having reviewed some of your posts on other threads, I feel lucky not to know you in real life...

"Reviewing my other posts", get a life. What sort of sad person has the time to do that. if you don't like my posts on this thread, why waste precious life time trawling through my other posts. I am so glad I don't know you either. What an anorak you are.

My girls 4 & 7 always give up on the fruit half way round. Leaving me to eat it to disapproving looks!

Yes im sure your kids "always give up on the fruit" and "leave you to eat it".

So what's the deal
verityjoanne to benjammin316

One piece of free fruit for a child, usually a choice of banana, apple or orange and a bag for your waste.

I think it's great they do this, unfortunately our local only puts out super green bananas. My daughter won't eat bananas anymore after the last plantain like one she had

In my local Tesco they put the free fruit in a basket for kids to help themselves, it's a shame that the fruit they put in the basket hasseen better days!

Such a great idea. First thing my daughter does when we go to Tesco is grab a fruit. It's just a shame they don't always have it topped up.
