No photo and maybe store specific, just bought one off a decent sized stack in Annan. Bog standard white 1.5l. Cheaper than a cup of coffee out, boiling hot!

I remember the days when people used to buy replacement heating elements to repair their kettles. Just cheaper to buy a new one these days and throw the old one away. Not sure if that is progress or not.

Well, at least these days when you take back a three month old plastic jug kettle to Currys because the element has died, they don't send it off for a few weeks to be repaired and incorrectly fit an unsuitable element which melts and fuses the kettle lead.
After initially denying any liability to do anything until you quote the sale of goods act of course.

Strangely enough. it's suddenly become more practical again since the availability of parts so cheaply from China. I bought a replacement kettle element from there not long ago.

Excellent value, but just be aware for anyone buying for a staff room or needs a quick brew this is not the best option.
We got one of these at work when our kettle bust, had to forgo my morning brew for a few months ( I came in on the train) as it took so long to boil when full for everyone that you either had to come in 5 minutes earlier or forgo your brew!
