4/kg is a great price for this.
They are usually frost bitten, but thats still fine for currys/stews. Not so great for more dry dishes.

I thought it was my freezer gave the frostbitten appearance. Otherwise these are great for cooking - sometimes get concerned just how far they have travelled though !!

This German stuff is quite good. I bought a load of mini chicken breast fillets when they were 3 for £5.

But are they pumped full of water and look more like a bladder than a breast?

I have checked the ingredients and no they are not. You would think for this price they were. I tried them before and I prefer them to fresh fillets bought from Waitrose, Aldi, and even Tesco's fresh fillets. So just give them a try xxx

Got some packs of frozen 1kg chicken breast tonight from Sainsbury's for £3 on offer from £4
What I really like is seeing chicken returned by Lidl (you do have to wonder why it was returned) being repackaged and sent out again with a new date and now inside Tesco packaging! One in the eye for the Tesco groupies who naively believed Tesco was somehow 'superior' to Lidl and Aldi!

One thing which Tesco and other supermarkets do which I think is outrageous is creating these fake farms and putting the name on the labels of their product. For example, Tesco sell chicken marked "produced exclusively by Willow Farms for Tesco". There's no such thing as "Willow Farms" at all it's just a marketing brand. That's just fraudulent and dishonest!!

The ones I got are 1kg packs though, I've just double checked to make sure. So think the store has messed up  (Super Store in Harrogate)
