£11.99 on steappowered too. How do these work; I assume uses your desktops hardware to run the game and this effectively is just like a Chromecast ?

Unsure about Chromecast, never used it but it basically streams from your gaming rig to the Steam link box over your home network and a wired connection between your gaming rig to router and Steam link to router is pretty much a must.

Fairly sure delivery via Steam is something ridiculous though

Yes, but you can link your controller to it. It's really good. I use my nvidia shield tv to do the same thing. Well worth the money.

OOS, like the last time it was posted. It doesn't show up until you try to add to basket.

Excellent product, paid £25 last week :disappointed:
Performance is fantastic with a wired connection and it works with Xbox 360 controllers.

Chose the free delivery option and it came the very next day. Still haven't figured out a use for it though, I'm more of a console gamer so don't have much in my Steam library! Works ok for RDPing too.
Certainly feels like it's worth more than £12.
