The Dead Rising remaster for (i think) the cheapest it has been, it is currently 68% off!
Fantastic port, runs really well and is by far the best in the series, if you ask me.
Maybe their are some codes floating about to make it even cheaper? Not sure though!
Enjoy!

Have they sorted out the "controller" controls on this remaster? Was never able to finish this on the Xbox 360 as they were so backwards with no option of being able to remap to a more conversional approach.
Hot price btw.

If you could that would be fantastic, I remember them being very akin to the traditional "southpaw" controls where the sticks are swapped but with no option of flipping them. They were fine for regular zombie chopping but when any kind of aim was required (I'm thinking the first boss) it became impossible for me

You can't move and aim at the same time. So backwards.
Plus the whole timer thing is so stupid. Artificially forcing you to play the game multiple times.

Not only that, the game forces you to aim with the left stick (which is my main problem) which is so counter intuitive to the muscle memory developed from pretty much every other console shooter.
Shame really cause on paper I should adore this game but for me it's unplayable

How is the timer stupid? Its one of the big reasons Dead rising is huge. If you want easy mode then play DR4, they took out the timer for "fans", look how well that turned out for the success of DR4.
If you guys cant handle the timer, dont play the game instead of moaining about a key mechanic.

Here's an idea, how about making it an option within the difficulty? I know I know, absolute madness right?
You're comparison to DR4 is beyond stupid. Basing the success of an entirely different game on the fact that one of the aspects is different really makes sense.
That's the reason I haven't replayed the game since 2006.

I doesmake sense when the developers admit themselves and promise to do better next time.
If you can't handle a timer, the game isn't for you.

Did not moan about timer. I never got far enough in to the game for the timer to become an issue, the controls are too bad and I'm not a masochist.

I'm not sure when the last time you played DR was but the controls are backwards to every other console shooter, I cannot aim with the left stick, I am not left handed. I've wanted to play this game since XB360 but never been able to adapt to the controls.
Bought the PC version yesterday though so hopefully KBM set up/Steam Controller will allow me to play
Oh and check my YouTube channel (same name) I'm not very good at Dark Souls by you'll see me beat all the bosses in DS3/Bloodborne & Nioh
Or just check me out on PSN (same name again) you'll see I've beat Demons Souls, DS1, DS2, DS2 SoTFS, DS3, Bloodborne & Nioh :sunglasses:
