But two, save on delivery or petrol, sell one for £7, costing me £3 for one. That's the plan

I find with Maplin it's worth looking around their website to make an order up to £10 as it's not exactly a huge amount to spend to get free delivery especially when you consider that with Amazon and their add-on items you have to spend £20...usually end up buying a few little bits and pieces to give as presents to people

I might just do that

"The blades and file lock into position at 180°."
So it's illegal to carry in the UK then?
:joy:

why would you carry it around public places anyway?
unless you're starting out doing jobs for people, by starting out I mean you have 1 tool which is this and you walk or get a bus everywhere
Actually the law on this stuff is so intrusive it covers having it available for use in your own vehicle, not just carrying it in public. It's OK if you have a "good reason" to carry it though...

Not strictly true. The UKs knife laws are not 100 prescriptive. It is illegal to "carry" it depending on where you are or what you are doing. Going out to a nightclub with this in your pocket = you are in trouble, cycling with this in your bike repair kit = you should be fine. You have to have a reasonable reason for having it on you. otherwise there would be no workmen using axes , knives , saws etc

I know all of the above, I was being deliberately provocative, given the hard time that hobbyist survivalist types get on HUKD when precisely the same laws apply... if you're on your way to a camp or on private ground then having a knife for that purpose on your person is quite legal.
