Tempting price. Is warranty as simple as if I'd bought from Amazon UK? Oh and how would I transfer games from my current PS4? I have P.T. and I wouldn't want to lose it.

Games are connected to your psn account so you can just download them on the new console once you've signed in, they'll be under purchased games in your library.

Wasn't P.T completly removed though, making it impossible to re-download?

P.T.? Are you referring to that kid with the birds in Dumb & Dumber?

There was a way to redownload it by changing your ip address. Think it still works. You do have to have downloaded it originally tho, no good for people to get it if didn't have it in first place.

You can do a full backup of your hard drive onto an ext usb device , then restore it onto your new ps4 - that's what i did to keep P.T. as i've just got the white pro destiny bundle which i think is a better deal if you're interested in D2
I've also read that you can redownload it thru a proxy server but beyond the headline i'm not sure what's involved with that method

Multiple ways to do it.
1. Full backup and restore keeps all games installed on the internal hard drive. 2. Transfer over network, you can transfer all content between two PS4s over a network. 3. Use external storage, if you have an external storage device of sufficient size (minimum 250GB I think) you can format it for game storage on PS4. Move the game to the external storage drive, safely remove from PS4. Insert into new PS4 and games will appear, you can then either move to new PS4 or keep on external drive. I use a 5TB external drive and have all my games including PT on it.
Option 3 is the most sensible if you have a large quantity of games anyway and saves time as you can leave them on it. However as you are moving the content, it will not remain on your existing PS4 if you are intending to keep that and move it to another room. Options 1 and 2 do not remove PT or any other content from the source PS4.
If you want to ensure you never lose it, here is what I did: 1. Move PT to a USB storage device with nothing else on it formatted for PS4 games. 2. Have all other games on a different USB storage device. 3. Initialize PS4. 4. Insert storage device with PT on and move back to internal storage. 5. Create a backup, as it is a freshly initialised PS4 with only PT installed, it is under 2GB so any USB thumb drive with at least 2GB free space will do.
At this point you now have a backup you can restore at any point to get it back if you accidentally delete the game. You can now move the PT on your PS4 hard drive back to external storage and set up your PS4 as you see fit.
Just noticed that the current Euro rate with Revolut is 1.1257 euros to the pound. Anyone buying with revolut could in theory get this console closer to £275 delivered

Been a little absent from here for a while, too much going on offline of late sadly :disappointed: Not even played a proper game for about 6 months ...keep on collecting these PS+ titles in the hope that one day I'll have chance to play em lol!

If it was this price with a good game like horizon zero dawn or uncharted the lost legacy and an extra controller I'd be so much more tempted!

Apologies if I'm pointing out the obvious but the power cable is the usual EU two prong. If you've not already got a uk plug for figure of eight power cord Amazon do them for .....
UPDATE
Sorry - looks like I'm mistaken, as has been said below by some wiser folk than I, the PS4 Pro uses a standard kettle power lead now so a regular mains plug to C13 (female) socket will do the trick. Again, as has been recommended, stick to 5 amp to save frying your expensive console

The pro uses a 3 pin kettle lead, make sure it has 5amp fuse

Actually I think the Pro uses a 2-pin 'kettle' lead. No earth pin, a 3-pin lead will work it just has no earth pin to connect on to. Same lead as Xbox 360 and Xbox One as well.

Ah sorry, my bad!
I did a google search and it appeared some folks stated that they were using their old PS3 power cables with it - so I assumed that meant it was the same figure of eight connection.
I best correct my post above to save confusion!
