The 65 series is better than the 66 series of which this is one. The 66 ("3 series") is apparently loud and the cleaning is slightly less despite having the same 31,000 strokes. Don't ask me why or how, just compare on Philips site things like plaque removal being 6x vs 7x. If you don't value the intensity that comes with the 3 series ie lowering it if you have sensitive gums just get the 6511, that is the cheapest and best overall.
Philips has the 6511 at 45 and using the same code of FAN20 reduces to 36 but Amazon beats it at 34.99. Amazon apparently had the 6511 at 29.99 earlier but 34.99 is still a good price and I think better than this.
