I don't know about paying with PayPal for a different region. Can't buy Russian credit. Use a fee-free payment method if you can such as Revolut. If using your regular debit/credit card be aware of your 'foreign transaction fee'

Exchange is about £9 but g2a sell 500 rubles for £7.89 and 250 for £4.84 so it's not quite £9?!
Are they any additional fees for paying with Visa?

Funny enough i actually did this for Sonic on the switch. To make things easier, just make a new account in russian. Do that online, then sign in with a new user on the switch. It will be in russian, and you will have to navigate in that language, however the layout/colours do help. I used Revolut to purchase, and now have 2 accounts just incase of another deal in the future..
