Got this from Amazon a few weeks ago, great little fast printer if you are just looking to print in black and white!

Do you suggest that it should be ok for an occasional print outs! It has few bad reviews on John Lewis.

Yea, I don't print very often and the advantage of this (a laser printer) over an inkjet printer is that you don't have to maintain and clean the printer heads, it just works when you want it to!
Having said that, i've only had it for a few weeks so I don't know how well it will perform after a few months!

Ive had the wireless version for over a year, its basically the same printer but with added wireless. anyway i print once every few month on average and never had an issue, the only thing i would say be aware of is that if you move your printer about (mines comes in and out the cupboard when i want to use it) the toner must move a little bit inside and the first page printed always has marks on it from what i presume is extra toner spilling onto the paper, the 2nd page is always fine. So now i always print a blank page first before using it. if you don't move it about like me often i'm sure its a non issue.

I've been using this printer for several months without issue and it only gets used occasionally. It doesn't dry up like ink jets do, which is the main reason that I switched to laser.
Go for it.

It's a great printer for not much money. Compact, quick to print,
Currently the same price at amazon. or £30.77 for a "warehouse deal" - a customer return, damaged box or something trivial. They have been as low as £24.99 at amazon, so you might want to hang on in the hope of a better price on black friday or something.

Nice printer for this price. I'm thinking about ink cartridge. Is there any refill option?

I'm not aware of a refill option, but recycled toner cartridges are an option. Personally I prefer to stick to OEM parts though. On the face of it, toner cartridges are expensive, but actual running costs are lower than ink jet.

There must be an option like all other laser printers. Not everyone buys a new cartridge each time its ink's finished.
