Poor? you get a £29.99 rrp (according to Currys Pc world) Rainbow six game with it for £7.50 might not be a great or good game and you could probably get that cheaper than £29.99 I checked Ebay the code is about £15.00 there and on steam £11.99 to £74.99 the one ive got is a 2 year pass but i dont know if it you need the origonal to play it or it can play right away but forgot to mention in my op the SSD drive comes with a 5 year warranty that might be standard for all these SSD's but again cant grumble at a 5 year warranty
Not cheapest price, but still looks like a Good deal to me

Sorry cold. The price of the game is clearly built into the cost as £90 for a 250GB SSD really isn't that cheap. That said storage prices on SSDs are poor anyway but it should definitely be possible to get cheaper than this....

close to it but not top tier as they are way more expensive. There are faster ssd on paper but you wont notice it in normal use

I think you'll find it's SATA3. How else would it get those performance stats?

To anyone considering upgrading from An old Ide (hard-drive) to an SSD Solid (State Drive Highly) recommenced it even if its for a different size make and model you will defo see n hear a huge difference and in performance instantly probably even on old machines like my old Dell vostro 4Gb ram 64bit win 7 im wish i had made the change months ago loving this new SSD it's no wonder they are still expensive this tech is actually great value for the money something that's a bit rare these days i reckon SSD is my min spec for a Hard-drive now go SSD you wont look back to Ide or old sata

iF SOMEONE IS TRULY upgrading from an ide hard drive to a sata SSD it is very likely they have no sata ports on their motherboard .. ide drives went away years ago. 54 for a used 240gb ssd sounds a bit pricey to me ..40-45 sounds better, .but YMMV :unamused: . SHould certainly be ok as long as its stats are ok. You can buy a tcsunbow drive new for about a tenner more.

Just buy used. SSD drives can be used for a very long time without any issues and you can get one for fraction of the price of a new one.

Why not ask seller to run the app before you buy it? Also the price is fine. I bought my ssd at similar price

Sorry game deal has expired but the ssd is still available same price I tried game code to and got the rainbow six download even though the 1st September last call date had passed which was great
If you have an old sata hard-drive its worth upgrading to ssd or an old Ide you can get an adapter on ebay for as little as £2 to install a ssd on an older Ide machine these links below will give you an idea of what your looking for
I don't know how reliable these things are may be best buy a cheap one try it if it works invest in a more expensive but better quality one but research it well and check your Pc specs before you buy stuff just in case it don't work
I hope others managed to get the deal too and enjoy the game and better Pc performance
