Offer is national so check your local Tesco / Tesco Petrol Station.
Just went to a Tesco Petrol Station to fill up and found that Redex was £2 (fuel injector)
Normally they're £4 so it's worth picking up one and another for the future (if needed)
Seems to end next month in October, thanks to garry141

Diesel is £2 as well

Why not just use the best quality super unleaded/diesel (Shell V-Power) that has a higher octane/cetane rating in the first place and has a complete package of additives that Redex alone does not provide?

tell everybody to use Shell V-Power and let me know their response

It's a no-brainer. Why pay for this at the reduced price of £8/L when for an extra 8% on standard fuel you can get all the benefits and more?
Not only does it it keep the engine fuel system clear of hydrocarbon deposits that can cause damage, it gives more torque at low rpm and if you use that to shift up earlier then you will be using less revs for the same performance and will enjoy an improvement in fuel economy (which will pay for the premium). All modern engines are certified for mpg and CO2 in the ECDC lab tests on the best fuel available. You also get more top end power, typically 10% more.
Pity many people on HUKD are fickle...

I don't believe in aditived fuel. I always use that but..I can't see any difference..I just used redex 1 month ago and I can feel positive difference after

You don't believe in it despite plenty of evidence that suggests otherwise? OK then...

18 Sep 17#10
Well..why I can't feel any difference then? I actually don't believe that the petrol stations actually put this aditive thing in the fuel..it's only the name..I'm not there when they mix aditived with fuel..right? So why should I believe this? I rather use Redex now and then and I know that it works

Because you have subconsciously decided to not believe it. Keep using Redex, it's what you do best :raised_hand:

I used Shell V Power last week, I'm not disagreeing on the point that it's effective but the fact that it costed me 12p on top of Unleaded is beyond me, I'll be spending hundreds on Petrol when I could easily be spending that on KFC and a good night in

The premium is mostly absorbed by the extra fuel economy you gain from using it in the first place! Add Drivers Club discount then it's fully negated!

I've used the Tesco momentum petrol for the first time this week and my car needs two tries to start up, coincidence?

Tesco Momentum is not very good...

Yeah coincidence, your car not starting is not related to what fuel you put in, was probably going to happen regardless

I drive a 16v 150bhp diesel Vectra with 120k on the clock, I use Morrisons diesel, every other fill up I either put in Wynn's Injector cleaner (Full bottle) or Redex diesel Injector (Full bottle), my car starts first time every time and the acceleration is like Sh1t off a stick, I change the fuel filter every year, I've had any of this gumming up people claim supermarket fuel gives you.
So thanks AsadP2012 think I'll nip in and grab a few bottles.

Premium fuel is 10-12p more per litre. Redex is £2, which is 2 treatments of a 50 litre tank. 100litres of premium would cost £10-12 more on top of the regular fuel, whereas using the redex will cost £4 at normal price and £2 in this deal.

Again - you negate the increased fuel economy you get from using it in the first place. V-Power already has Redex additives in it and more...

Some swear by it, others don't believe the hype. Unless you have a lab in your backyard shed where you can test this stuff yourself it's a personal thing I guess.
