B&M are selling LED cycling armbands - red coloured - for a £1.00.
These are ideal for cyclists to wear on the arms, stick on a bike somewhere or, as I have done, attach one to the rear of a bike helmet.
Would also be good for kids walking to / from school - either on their arms, coats or school bags - and even for putting on a dog's collar when out walking.
The red is actually a good colour - my camera made the red look a lot whiter than it actually is.
One WARNING - I bought two but the batteries were dead on one. You can try the batteries in the shop and I should have done that. They use two CR2032 batteries each and come supplied with them.
Supposed to give you 36 hours of continuous use or 24 hours of flashing mode.
They come with an elasticated strap that fits around your arm with velcro or is ideal for attaching it to a bike helmet, pet collar or child's school bag.
The cheapest I have found these online for is £4.85 for a pair.

I wore mine out last night with it flashing on helmet, along with my new bike light from Aldi, and traffic was visibly braking when they saw me standing on the pavement.
