Thanks for mentioning the FTP in 2018. I nearly got this the other day but luckily saw that before I hit the buy button (heat for price if you cant wait though / want to be a founder)

Got it on pc for £15 from eBay. Didn't think much. Now knowing it's free to play next year makes it seem like a waste of money now

Don't waste your money. It's fun for the first few hours until you realise it's just a massive with so many pointless features added. You'll spend half your time clicking around in menus decided if pointless defender #47 is better than worthless defender #95.
Then you'll hit the massive pay wall, since the only way to get new blueprints for gear is to buy them from loot chests.

I've been really enjoying this, yes it's a grind, but I've not felt the need to spend any real money yet.
It's probably best to buy it on PC though, as you get the PS4 version free, but I don't think it works the other way round.
Opening post
Fortnite - Standard Founder’s Pack - £24.74
Fortnite - Deluxe Founder’s Pack - £37.49
Price only available between 12/09/2017 - 18/09/2017
Fortnite introduces a new 100-player PvP mode, Battle Royale, later this month
