I know it's probably RRP but I haven't seen this anywhere else and it's a proper controller for the game.

Having this as a wired controller is nonsense for a portable console.

The Nintendo Switch has many wired controllers around. I personally don't like them but then again I was able to afford the pro controller. Not everyone can

Paying 30quid for a limited controller which won't work for all games is nonsense

You use analog sticks in fighting games?

Perhaps my reply was unclear. I should have said "you use analog sticks in fighting games? Are you crazy?!"

I do by default, is that why everyone kicks my donkey??

Depends on the fighting game and character tbh. It's a matter of preference. Professionals use sticks as well.

They do, but some tournaments require Controllers, I've seen Daigo (famous street fighter & other fighting game player) use them while practicing in a mini documentary about him.

Whilst practicing jeez, I thought they only use arcade sticks, kinda feel better missing the deal now, thought it might make me better :joy: ive been owned many times online with mega combos and all aerial combos to, couldnt even get a move in, amazing people

LOL yeah it's better to stay away from ranked matches if you don't know all the characters movesets at the very least. Pokken is beginner friendly so you shouldn't have an issue constantly get beat, just most of the time. Stay away from walls is thr best info I can give you.

it might be worth mentioning that the older Wii U model (white) provides the same functionality, and could be picked up quite cheap at one point.

Didn't know that. Thanks for the heads up  I guess this is for people who like switch-specific stuff

the Nintendo UK web store actually bundled the white version at one point, more than likely to clear their inventory --> hotukdeals.com/dea…521

thought I recalled that correctly - the pad has undocumented support for games other than Pokken on Switch, but only works with Pokken on Wii U.

am I right in thinking this is only compatible with Pokken on the Switch, as it was with the Wii U?

This is a choice controller for a Raspberry Pi 3/RetroPie setup if you can't source an iBuffalo SNES pad. Lovely d-pad and responsive buttons.

Absolutely 1000% agree! The face buttons have a wonderful almost click-like feel. I usually reach for this controller when playing snes (and sometimes Tekken 3!)

Is it wishful thinking this would work on Pokken Wii U also?
