I just weigh myself on a regular scale without my luggage and then again while carrying it. Useless - cold.

Sometimes I poop inbetween but when I do I make sure to poop on the scale so the readings are correct

So do you take your scales away with you? (think how much they weigh) I always take one of these in my case so when returning with souvenirs I can check my luggage before going to the airport.

I have a set of these, they get jammed very easily and the hook can be a bit of a faff on some suitcases.
