Just as a heads up, and it's in no way meant to devalue the post. But this is the new RRP for these packs now as of September 1st. Sony have discounted the PSVR bundles and these two are them, with the lower £349.99 package now marketed as the 'core bundle' and has actually been repackaged with the camera included, as seen here...
Hopefully, once the dust settles on the new RRP, we might start to see even better deals thrown our way for PSVR.
Heat added, fantastic value in both

Is this definitely confirmed for the UK then? Last I heard it was just North America.

Can someone tell me if VR headset and the camera are required for RE7 on ps4?

No, it can be played in full without VR.

Are still making games for this? I haven't heard of any big releases coming soon?
Thanks. They announced the deal on Twitter so I found it there. I'm so tempted but I feel like it's still too expensive if it just collects dust!

I feel sick just thinking about VR and yes I've tried it many times.

Voted hot, cheapest I can see but think I've waited this long so might as well wait until black Friday sales and see if I can grab a bargain.

I still feel like this is a novelty thing and that it will go the way of a lot of these gaming accessories like kinect or move support and eventually fade away and lose support from developers the only difference being this is the price of an actual console. Are there any big games coming out for this that are must plays? Or just any good games at all??

Have you tried VR? It is brilliant. This is only the beginning , if it does take off then the headsets can only get better. This is like the black and white tv compared to a 4k hdr tv

To be honest, I wasn't sure if VR would just be a novelty gimmick and then I tried my friends PSVR - and bought one the next day. Truly phenomenal experience - literally has to be seen to be believed and it's amazing to think this is just the basic first wave of this technology. God only knows what it's going to be like in 5 or 10 years.
True, it will never take over normal gaming - it's like comparing apples and oranges. In VR it's not just the gaming but the whole experience of actually being in the game is just something else. Only downside is that the "VR sickness" is natural and does take some use to get used to until your brain adapts (much like seamen would get their sealegs after a week, you get your VR legs after a while as well).
But yeah, seriously if you're interested, go to a VR centre near you and give it a shot at least, it's an interesting and memorable experience and leaves you itching for more and wondering about the possibilities in the future.

Okay I might have to try it now. I did get an email from Sony aswell when it first came out to go to the Metrocentre to try it out in store. I am planning on buying a Pro this month so I might wait till black Friday to see if I can get on a bit cheaper. I was just looking at the racing wheel setups on ebay with racing seats and thinking it would be perfect for VR but I can't see my girlfriend being to happy about having one stuck in the corner of the sitting room :joy:

Good plan man and yeah I upgraded to a pro myself just this week! Worth it for the extra bells and whistles. Look forward to your experience and if you get a chance to try a PC VR setup, give Robo Recall a shot, it's pretty impressive. Though to be fair, Arizona Sunshine/Farpoint with the AIM controller is utterly amazing.
