Not sure why the cold votes. I bought this yesterday in Tesco at £35. Hot from me

Is it any good? I currently have a Braun electric toothbrush which is fine, but the battery is starting to go.

Streets ahead! This is not the cheapest they have ever been, but a good price compared to recently:uk.camelcamelcamel.com/Phi…O3U

The Philips range are easier to change the battery than the Braun, but this model is a bit more tricky than other Philips ones. toothbrushbattery.com/gui…nt/

Completely different things really. Do you want a rotating head like your Braun or one of these?

The one Tesco are selling for £35 is the latest model and much better than this old stock.
That's not better spec wise than the one being shown here

Looking up the specs the tesco one (6251) has 2 modes but is NiMH, the amazon one is 1 mode but has LiON battery. Both similar list prices. I'd rather have the better battery than a massage mode.

I'm onto my 3rd one of these. They last about 4 -5 years . I prefer the toothbrush shape of the head which are often on offer in Boots. I'd recommend.

Good price, heat. This is the lowest model with the same 31k stroke of the higher (FlexCare, DiamondClean, etc.) models, it lacks the extra brushing modes and sensitivity settings. Most people don't need those and just brush on the one setting.

Any decent cheapish heads available?

I find these noticeably worse build quality than the slightly more expensive healthywhite. Have had 3 fail after just 6-15 months with a rotted o-ring. Philips replacement service is good, but it's a PITA and too much hassle to keep going through it after less than a year.
