Don't worry especially if picked up the Currys £1699 deal, just see the AV forums review... However the most obvious alternative to the TX-55EZ952B is the LG
OLED55B7V which currently retails for exactly the same price. The two
are almost identical in terms of performance, although the B7 is
slightly brighter with HDR content whilst the EZ952 has a smidge more
colour accuracy. They both have low input lags but the Panasonic
includes black frame insertion and feels slightly better made, whilst
the LG has the edge in the looks department and also boasts WebOS which
is the superior smart platform. In fact the B7 is packed with features
and crucially includes Dolby Vision, which gives it the edge in terms of
overall bang for buck.

Thx for info, I got the LG for 1799 but the Panasonic was 500 more then, I would go for this if I had the choice, dont get me wrong I'm happy with the LG but coming from a 42 Panny plasma for 9 yearsI would have stuck with them.

You do realise Panasonic don't make OLED screens, they are all supplied by LG?

I think you made the correct choice. The LG supports all hdr formats and is brighter. Input lag is lower and the OS is miles better. I have the LG and would of choose the LG regardless of the Panasonic price. The Sony A1 on the other hand if that was a similar price to the B/C7 then I would of probably gone for the Sony. The Smooth Graduation feature on top end Sony sets really does clean up a lot of posterisation on low quality sources. Although that LG does a great job this year in terms of lower quality stuff.
