Looking at the reviews rusting issues seems to be a recurring problem. Had similiar problems with a hotpoint microwave I bought in a b&q deal last year.

All the cheapest ones rust, its usually caused by the wheels that supports the glass plate, they cut in to the paint, then the moist kicks in from the food and that's the end of that.

i have this exact one, paid about 55 pounds from argos few years ago, and what you mentioned has happened to mine. The internal paint on the base of the microwave has all come off and become rusty on the inside of the door panel edging. However, i think its still worth a purchase at this price.

I agree. When looking for a microwave/oven, try to pay a bit more and get one with a stainless steel interior. The rotating wheel support always ends up wearing off the enamel on the cheaper ones, then the rust sets in.

Great little microwave. You need to make sure you leave the door open/wipe it out after use as eventually the steam causes the paint to peel, which then allows rust to form.
Or let it rust and buy a new one every 2 years for £40-50.
