Our little one is due January. Are these ok for newborns, as there is a smaller size to this too.
Also is this a really good price, as I've never bought nappies before...
Thanks.

Seems a good price to me. I normally use mysupermarket for a quick comparison. Asda have Size 1, 22 pack at £1.50. I always thought size 0 was for premature babies. I don't think you will use size 1 that long and will probably jump to size 2. Wish you all the best.

size 1 for a newborn, they go by weight of the baby
I'm sure these are up to 11lb or something

So I guess this price is the best out there for the quality of this nappy?
Think I'll take the plunge...
3 packs a safe bet, as apparently they go through them like water to start with!

the asda little angels ones have the blue line indicator and you get 80 for £3

i've also read some really bad stories about babys getting chemical burns from asda ones so keeping clear!

These vs the Asda ones? Do they make a lot of difference?
i'm not taking the risk really - i'm tempted with the aldi ones as they too have the indicator but waiting till their baby event again.

Bl**dy hell...
Pampers for us then!
So is this the best price for these particular nappies and how many do you think you'll need before going up a size?

i've bought 3 of these and i've also got a pack of 96 all in size 1.. i hear they can go through at least 12 nappies a day! I'd rather buy more than less and knowing if i have some left over i can either sell or pass along! I won't be buying anymore size 1s now will be looking for deals on size 2!

I heard up to 12 a day too, so that's 6 days per pack... blimey!
18 days for the 3 packs... best case 3 to 3 and a half weeks!
Think they'll be onto size 2 by then? I'm so clueless how quick they grow!
It's turning into Mumsnet here! (and I'm a Dad to be!)

i'd say they would be around then - depends on their birth weight and how much weight they put on in the beginning! Won't break the bank too much if you have to go out and get some more if you only buy the 3 packs but i'd have thought by a month at least they'll be onto size 2!
i'm used to mumsnet - always on it at the moment!

Ours was born over 7 weeks ago, at 7lb 15 ounces. she was measured this week at nearly 11lbs, she's still on the 1's. Hope that helps! They poop so much....Best of luck!

check out bumdeal.co.uk I always used this when I was getting through loads of nappies. I always used to buy pampers when my little boy was newborn and always found the best deal on there I now buy aldi ones which I find as good - my sister used aldi since day one as she found pampers leaked for her little girl. It’s just trial and error really and yes generally size one is new born up until a few months depends on weight u only need the micro for really small or perm babies I would say.
