Xiaomi earphones are very overrated, but a good deal at this sort of price for what are probably the best of the bunch

Sure. I'm not saying they're all bad, just the way people go on about them being amazing £xx beaters is a bit much sometimes.
For me the only ones to avoid entirely are the Piston models, all complete junk. Yes, they are amazing value for money when available for under £5 and build quality is better than some £xx more expensive, but the sound is pretty poor, muddy, with little detail and clarity which makes them useless, as they're just not enjoyable to listen to.
The Hybids sound a lot better, but they really favour a bass heavy sound and still lack the detail I look for.
I compare all budget earphones against a pair of Sennheiser CX 300II which I picked up for between £6.99 cheapest and £24.99, and compared to them these fall way short. I might be being unfair as on offer they are extremely cheap for what you get, they look and feel fantastic, but they don't sound as good as I would expect looking at other reviews.
Voted hot. This is an excellent price, and if the sound signature suits your taste, an absolute bargain. Not for me though

I completely agree, I bought a pair from gear best cost me £12 they lasted a month then the plastic came in the headphone bit and soon after they started becoming quieter. You might as well get Apple headphones from CEX for £15

Every pair of Xiaomi headphones I've bought or used have been excellent - easily better than many 3 or 4 times the price. Sure some £100 plus headphones might be better, but for the price these are amazing.

Exactly what I mean Better than many maybe, but I don't think anyone that actually owns a pair of good quality 3 or 4 times more expensive earphones would agree, and comparing them to bad quality ones seems a bit disingenous.

Banggood and a lot of other sellers don't follow that naming but these are the Triple driver 'Pro HD'. They list the Dual driver 'Pro' as just: 'Hybrid Dual Driver'<. If you look at the model number on that page and the page of this deal, then compare them to the specs tab of both on the official site, you'll see they match up:
