Unlike the above deal which is admittedly cheaper this should have a 12 day Lithium Battery (if current stock) with no memory effect i.e. 5 days better battery life than previous NiMh versions!
Sound Connectivity explained, bit of a gimmick but explained here:
Also in other colours for slightly more but would recommend taking from box and checking for lithium ion symbol on the base of the brush
This is a biggy as many of the complaints on Amazon re. Oral B brushes with NiMh batteries are about battery life (in use) and battery longevity overall.
Oral B Pro 600 Pink Special Edition
3D movement cleaning system oscillates, rotates, and pulsates - mimics the shape of professional cleaning tools.
- The perfect angle: CrossAction removes up to 100% more plaque vs a regular manual toothbrush.
- Timer indicates dentist-recommended brushing time of two minutes - with 30 second intervals.
- Included in pack: Rechargeable toothbrush handle, Charging station, 1 brush head: 1 CrossAction
Should be according to Termite on previous deal this should have the superior Lithium battery

might be a bit of a toothbrush promotion going on, i was in wilkinsons earlier and on display was a colgate cr350, 4 on the rack at £10.00 each. as with all of these promotions it may be store specific but if you are in there and looking for a suitable christmas gift this may be an option.

No, superdrug offers are should be concurrent online and in store. If by your logic the shops should always be full price they'd shut down pretty quickly as everyone would buy online only, especially as it's free delivery no matter how little the cost of the item with a beauty card.

nice one, saw this on superdrug earlier but I couldn't really tell the difference between 600 and 650. May as well cancel my Amazon order now

My Pro 600 had a sticker on the box that said 'Now with li-ion battery, 2 weeks between charges', or something like that.

Oral B are upgrading all their brushes to Li-Ion batteries.
You may well end up with the old NiMH battery.

Termite got his/hers from Superdrug and got Lithium ion, see link to post at top.
I don't think this sound activation business has been out on the cheaper brushes very long so I'm confident enough to order based on that and also these 2 links.
Oral B are very good at 'hiding' battery technology as you'll read in my recent posts but Superdrug have a large stock turnover and would allow return to store if there was no evidence the toothbrush had been used.
Otherwise I'll let you know in about 3 days as my order is in!
