There seem to be lots of deals on this toothbrush around at the moment, some a few pence cheaper, but this is a good price if Tesco is more convenient than B&M and others. Some have suggested that they are on clearance as the batteries are being upgraded to Li-ion on newer stock but this isn't confirmed. Still showing at £50 on line so this is an in store deal (several on the shelf in Solihull Monkspath).
My dentist and hygenist recommend Oral B with 3D action and this is the best value model as it has 3D without the gimmick features on more expensive models.

This brush is always around £20—£25. This is the one I specifically asked santa not to bring as it's always seems to be on offer somewhere and ain't got the go of some of the better ones

That's been around the track now. 16.50£ on groupon. I got one for 19 £ before I noticed the groupon deal of Amazon. So don't give me "the still showing 50£" bla bla
Which part of "There seem to be lots of deals on this toothbrush around at the moment..." didn't you understand?
Yes, the RRP is £50; yes, it's widely available for less at the moment; yes, this is the price it's in my local Tesco at the moment which may save someone a search.
OK?

This one is junk, pay a bit more and get the 2000 or above

The only difference with the 2000 is a pressure sensor and light (which you can't see when brushing). Save your money!

Nope I bought this one after owning the 2000 model and the power of this one is pathetic Wasted money on this and bought another 2000 model for £24.49

That's an interesting observation since the risk with the 600 is that you brush too hard - 2000 has a sensor to discourage this.
Maybe you'd like to tell everyone where you got your 2000 for £24.99? Maybe even post it on HUKD! Noticed it at "half price, £35" in Asda today.

Amazon a few months ago, these are regularly half price at multiple retailers. Stop taking this personally, I'm trying to save people from spending twenty pounds on a very poor toothbrush.

Not taking it personally in the slightest - just trying to correct the misleading information in your posts which could lead people to miss a decent deal or spend more unnecessarily on a different model. You are offering personal opinion based on a purchase months ago whereas I'm offering a fact-based deal which is currently available. I made it very clear in my post that: "There seem to be lots of deals on this toothbrush around at the moment, some a few pence cheaper". Half price would be £25 so this deal beats your "half price at multiple retailers" claim anyway.

I have already bought four in recent months - 3 from Savers for £19.99 and another from Asda for a similar amount. Very happy with them and by managing the batteries properly a charge lasts at least 7 days. We run them right down then put on charge while using another for the next 7 days.
A Li-ion battery should be much better but at £50 vs £20 I'll stick with these. The half price 2000 brushes (£35 from £70) are still Ni-mh.

Just checked other stores today: B&M £24.99 with extra brush head OR tube of toothpaste (making it model 670 or 650); Asda £50.
