Really am surprised. What version did you get the 64gb or 128gb?. I tried 4 of them as went round a bunch of cex shops that had them and even in 02 but the jello was very much there. I spend work and play on my phone so I noticed it straight away.

I bought the 128gb version. Honestly no issue what so ever. I have also seen a op5 with it but mine does not have it. Before I purchased it from the O2 shop I asked to see it before I paid as I said to them about the jelly effect.

Very much doubt that, given it is a hardware issue and OP have stated this. I have one and haven't seen the Jelly effect so I'm not bothered if it is there or not, as long as I don't see it. I don't think this is a good deal though without a warranty. I bought mine in Malaysia for the equivalent of £375. No warranty either, but at least I could test it before coming home.

Have you got a link for this because as far as I aware the issue is a hardware fix, which is why oneplus failed to admit as it would have probably destroyed them if they had a recall. I tried to search online but cannot find anything to suggest a software update fixes the issue.

At the moment Note 8 before that S8. They standalone design and specifications Only the V30 and iP8 will challenge that. The Pixel will be barebones again. The OP5 isn't even full 1080P due to it's Pentile matrix. It's nowhere near being the best phone, it's just the most hyped on YouTube.

I had the oneplus 1, 2 and 3. Couldn't justify a 3t because there wasn't much difference. Oneplus 5 looks like a iPhone so my new samsung s8 was the way to go.

Yeah my oneplus one is grinding a bit now. So Im In the market for something new but the reason I got a oneplus was cus it was so cheap. And although from what I've read the one plus 5 is a really good phone and I'll add heat, oneplus have left me behind in price and I think I'll be going for something by Xiaomi for my next phone.

Nice! I had mine from December 2011 until last autumn. It still works but the top button (to lock) didn't work so much. I've had a Redmi 3S Plus (3G RAM, 4100mAh) with their sexy flip cover. Cost about £115 and very happy with it about 1 year later. I recommend it as a cheaper Mi1 upgrade. 4A is now out also as an option, better CPU but weaker battery

Before I purchased it from the O2 shop I asked to see it before I paid as I said to them about the jelly effect.
A second camera that only works in optimal lighting

Only the V30 and iP8 will challenge that. The Pixel will be barebones again.
The OP5 isn't even full 1080P due to it's Pentile matrix. It's nowhere near being the best phone, it's just the most hyped on YouTube.

Not really a deal
I have heard stories of OnePlus honouring warranties and repairing for free but I wouldn't count on it.
I guess you don't have the wobble wobble video camera, lackluster low light performance, touch latency( admitted by OP) or any of the bug fixes listed in 18 months of OTA'S
No, no issues
I've had a Redmi 3S Plus (3G RAM, 4100mAh) with their sexy flip cover. Cost about £115 and very happy with it about 1 year later. I recommend it as a cheaper Mi1 upgrade. 4A is now out also as an option, better CPU but weaker battery
