It's that time of year again where my kids ask me for new boots for their football training, after wrecking the recent pairs by going into sliding tackles like the worlds going to end (and wearing them on concrete which has nothing to do with it apparently..)
Spotted Nike have quite a few on sale so will save me a fair few quid until the next time.....
Careful with Nike - the sizes vary quite a bit. My old pair of Onda III size 8 is the same size as my new Tiempo Prem 8.5 for instance. Best try them in the shop first really!

Agree!! my 5 yo wears size 12 in one style- than we were after black nike we needed 13 and football shoes he needed 13,5!!!! All of them nike of course

Same thing happens to me every year when I take my son for new boots. I think it's a disgrace that I keep having to buy him bigger and bigger boots every season.

It was meant as a joke due to a previous comment by another poster that kept going back to a store and had to buy bigger and bigger sizes. Why does every joke I post on here need explaining to at least one person?

Well if you say something that could be taken as a serious comment (even if its a bit of a daft one) then you would normally end it with a :grin: or a :nerd: or similar. This is because people cannot hear your tone or see your expression when you reply to a forum post. So without it, no one knows if you're joking or just making a stupid/ill informed comment! Maybe that's why you have to explain every time?

Well i guess you did not understand my comment. All three pair of shoes were bought within 2 weeks time. And I was referring to a comment that Nick made before me- that sizes vary and its best to try them in store before you bug online

Sign up to Running Heroes and submit any fitness tracking (links to a number of apps) and/or you can get referrals which give you boosts, you can then cash these in for discount codes. I've used a few for Nike and they work on all sale items :smile:
