Dunno how it fares against this one but Asda have an offensively bright worklight for £4: groceries.asda.com/pro…834
Available in-store in Pudsey all the time.

"red emergency flasher" aaarghh! Why? I do so hate lights that have pointless modes you have to cycle through every time you turn them on and off. Otherwise I'd be straight onto this.

Bought one, I don't see much of a use for the red, however, I seem to manage with the extra 1 second I spend on the 2 clicks.

These cycle through Bright, Dim, then red flash. The red flash can be used for night time break down purposes possibly. It's a feature I never use myself

Mine arrived with 3 dead batteries - worked intermittently for about a minute on new batteries - then died completely. Waste of time.

I've had to post it back for a replacement - which they won't send until they have original back.

Most places have the same type of policy, I hope the replacement is ok, im sure it will be. Ive got 3 of these now, first one I got about 2 years ago, arrived with batteries that it still runs mega bright with, I couldn't be any happier with it to be honest.
Have a read of the reviews on amazon, id guess you were very unlucky.
