Isn't this a standard price of 59p at Iceland? I think this is another Tesco "We'll inflate it to a ridiculous price, before claiming it's half price, but still more than other retailers" deal. Cold. Oh so cold.
How rude! No but seriously, this is why I posed it as a question, and my point still stands generally. Many Tesco offers are a tad disingenuous to say the least. After all, if as another poster pointed out Farmfoods, a much smaller retailer can afford to effectively sell these at 50p each, (2 for a pound), this price from the giant of food retailing, really isn't very special. This is before we start on the ethics of suggesting they were ever worth £1.30! I do not trust Tesco at all. They manipulate and lie.
