Seen this at local mccolls. You'll instantly get voucher for same amount to spend on Goggle play or Amazon. Looks decent deal as you basically get your money back to spend on Google play or Amazon for movie rentals.
Thx, turns out there's one right near me, I always just thought it was a spar

It might have been. McColls are expanding aggressively and recently purchased the smaller Co-op stores which Co-op no longer wanted.

So, do they give you a £3.50 Amazon voucher in the shop when you pay then? Thank you.

This is for 1 movie rental - not £3.50 to just 'spend'. What's that say in the yellow circle - something about 'subject to availability' ? That would suggest the number of codes is limited. Since it says nothing on their website, I can't find out. The £3.50 refers to a 'movie rental' whilst the OP has clearly put 'Get £3.50 to Spend on Goggle Play or Amazon' which is not strictly true since it is only for use on a movie rental - you can't spend it on whatever you want (which is how I'm reading it) The title is a bit misleading. Should read 'Free Movie rental worth £3.50 with a snack deal from Mccoll's'

I said towards movies. Apologies as I didn't said its only for movie rentals. It says on offer strictly two per household on that yellow circle.
No need to apologise lol, I was only pointing out a few parts that were unclear. :innocent:

Voted hot... but... what a palaver!
You get the scratch card and the till receipt, then go to the online claim website.. name, telephone number, e-mail, full address, scratch card code, 28 digit code of the receipt (no spaces to make reading it easier) then have to upload a photo of the receipt!! If the claim is successful, will receive details of the card code to put in to Amazon / Google Play within a couple of days.
I don't think I'll be bothering with claiming a second £3.50 code...

How did you get your 12 digit card number to log in? I've had my email to say mine has been validated then had another email from universal card but there doesn't seem to be any type of "card" or "virtual card" on the email. I've been provided with a password but can't get any further.

Has anyone else managed to actually rent a film? I was excited when I first got this deal on Friday, then disappointed when I went to choose a film and found out it would be a two day wait. Since had to contact due to the virtual card going to my spam folder (no idea it was there or that I'd receive two separate emails with card and then password). No I have everything, I've logged into my account to check the balance, tried to rent a film on both amazon and google but the card keeps declining. The balance in my card now shows as £2.50! I honestly give up! Great deal in theory but far too much faffing, passwords, codes, virtual cards which over complicate it. A code on the scratch off panel would have been better

Having said that, thought I'd give it one more go and it worked straight away... after 30 minutes of trying! :joy: :joy:

I've now been waiting over 48 hours for my virtual card / password (I have checked my Spam folders). It's great to know that even when it does arrive, it's still going to be a nightmare to redeem :joy: I think I'll have to start boycotting the village McColls out of protest

Worse promotion ever. Poor signage, items in deal don't register at cashier. Just tried to reveal code on scratch card - nothing there.
