Matalan has 3 for 2 on christmas wrap etc, but seems to be taking off the most expensive item . i.e I just ordered 2 x £2 gift tags, and a £12 gift box, and paid £4. Free click and collect,unsure if instore

Had a mess around and seems to go abit wierd when you add more items in, still cheaper then its supposed to be though. Probably worth ordering in seperate transactions if you want more then one

Great thanks Op! The box is now out of stock, the next most expensive thing in the offer is £6 Set of wrapping papers and tags all in one. I got plenty of wrapping paper now :thumbsup: thanks again :thumbsup:

I had a play around with some items, but even with the glitch, the products don't seem that cheap, and can probably get similar stuff cheaper elsewhere anyway.

Just ordered two lots of the £1 tags and a free £6 pack of paper, what I can't work out is if the tags are literally one tag in a pack because they come with a little bell on and there doesn't seem to be a pack size quoted . Does anyone happen to know ?

I didn't notice that till you said that. It looks like it's only one tag :astonished: oh well was only £1. I'll save that tag for the special gift lol

still haven't had confirmation email and i have checked my junk, i ordered when the deal was first posted looks like i won't be getting them! will be well annoyed if they only send me the 2 initial tags as i ordered 2 different initials to go with 2 gift boxes. It was a good deal with the gift box but without the box £2 for 2 letters seems a rip off!

Yea after I ordered I had created an account on the same Page and when I login and click orders it shows nothing at all like I haven't ordered anything

i know it's weird but i never took note of my order numbers and don't want to ring and mess it up for anyone else! my payment went through ok so can't understand why?

Wait until tue latest to see if they email you or anything then call weekend orders are processed on Mondays I'm sure for next day collection hopefully they email us by then !

Nothing taken off under 3for2 for me either :disappointed:
needto go all the way back to Matalan to return something as well so would have been wotthehile for me. Good luck to the early birds!

never share a glitch until you have had a despatch email or had the item/s delivered.

I put in order yesterday and once I got to final payment process .it said confirmation on order with code. But iv not actually received any email with confirmation . Iv never ordered online with Matalan- anyone know how it works - money's been taken out

Just had email updates, they are sending the gift tags reduced from £1 a pack to 25p a pack each, but the wrapping paper is " out of stock" . Really can't be bothered to trek across town for 2 gift tags , but just checked and they keep them for 28 days before returning them. Bit of a pain .

I had an email yesterday saying they'd cancelled my order as the items are out of stock.. :astonished:
then i I got another email straight after literally within the same minute, saying it's dispatched.
now I've just had a txt saying my click and collect order is ready to be collected :unamused: ... don't know what to expect lol :grin:

just rang matalan and there are no orders to display and they said, are you sure you ordered them! so i rang the bank and the 2 payments have gone through but matalan haven't claimed them, really strange this one it's like they didn't even exist, just rang local store to see if they could help as there are no orders there for me to collect, waiting for a reply, i am really annoyed that i have had no emails or phone calls off them to let me know.

just had an email off matalan to say order has been cancelled due to a technical issue, refund may take 7 working days and issued a 10% off next online purchase this must be a miracle as apparently yesterday i didn't even have any orders placed with them!

I did.. I got email saying order cancelled then 2 days later I got txt saying it's ready to collect so I went along to the store. I had ordered a pack of gift tags £1. and a big pack of wrapping paper and bows ect which was supposed to be £6. My parcel contained 1 roll of gift wrap which was advertised for £2.50 I certainly didn't order that. I looked at the order paper in the bag and they're only charged me 92p. Very odd I do not understand what happened but I got a nice roll of wrapping paper for 92p :thumbsup:

collected mine today, had 2 orders fulfilled
