I wish I'd purchased this TV instead of the crap KS9000 I've been lumped with.

What's wrong with it? I had to return a 55 due to shocking light bleed, made watching anything dark impossible. Changed it for a 58dx902b, excellent tv

Hi. Same as you, light bleed is shocking. As the TV was a gift I've gone to Samsung direct to try and sort Did you know the light bleed is in their T&C's I've been told. Samsung don't want to know.

It is in there, you have to expect 'some' due to the nature of the technology, but the retailer I bought mine from agreed is was disgraceful. Funny though, how some people claim to have zero light bleed etc. Quality control comes in to question!

Thinking about is it, mine is the 65" ks 8000, coming from a decent plasma I was expecting to be disappointed, but there is no light bleed, otherwise it would have been going back within 7 days for a refund

I believe the 8000 there was less chance of getting panel issues due to being flat, looks like the curve caused some issues with this model

I've found Samsung don't want to know about mobile issues as well. I am now avoiding all their products from now on.

The light bleed is shockingly bad. To a point it's difficult to watch. Glad to hear that there are some out there like yours which are fine.

3D is disappearing fast from top-end TVs again so you'll be waiting a while!

3D discs are being released. They are still in production. You think that will change? Because it won't then the demand will be there again...
CABellamy to danjames922
14 Sep 17#16
They can keep producing them all they want, but if people aren't buying them it's still going to die. 3D is a dying format. When/If? they manage to make glasses free 3D work in the living room then it will see a resurgence but that's a long way off for now.
danjames922 to CABellamy
14 Sep 17#21
That's hardly true when most discs being released are being packaged with the regular 2D and sometimes even the 4K.

14 Sep 17#37
So what you're saying they're forcing you into getting the 3D version by packing the 2D/4K version in with it which is what the vast majority of people want. Talk about artificially inflating figures.

3d is a dying format on TV. When it's glasses free no doubt make comeback but years away

Agree with danjames92 wasn't that interested in 3d till I got the C6 Oled - I'm hooked. There's a growing number lobbying LG to bring back 3d. Good price at this time though and won't drop under £1400 even next year, that's where the B6C6 has plateaued at.

Also agree with this comment. These OLED TVs have enough brightness, resolution and contrast to finally pull off fantastic 3d images. My C6 OLED is superb and Star Wars Rogue One is a joy to watch,

+1 for the C6 oled.
was never interested in 3d and only purchased that model as it has a better chipset than the B6 flat screen non 3d model. Glad I did as it's the best 3d I have ever seen on a tv !! Haven't watched Rogue one yet but looking forward to it!!

Personally I think 3D will die pretty soon. Like others have commented, it is gone from virtually all high end 2017 models. I think it's a shame as I quite liked 3D, but don't miss it too much.
Highly recommended television though. I have the 65" C7 instead and it is amazing, far better than the Sony OLED it replaced.

I hope so. Love 3D, unlike most it seems. Thought about getting a Philips TV for ambilight, but none seem to have 3D
