This is my first deal, I am not a computer expert but just in case this may interest someone:
I have been searching for a SSD, I5, FHD,8GB RAM laptop for sometimes and I have come accross this today on Argos. I have finally bought this one as I was too slow on other deals I have seen and I really need a laptop now!
HOT for current laptop prices - can't believe last Christmas you could get a touchscreen 1080p, 4GB, 128SSD, i3 for £349 - wonder what has happened to cause this price insanity!?

No doubt the poor exchange rate has something to do with it.
Also flash memory and ram are high ATM.

Yeah, Lenovo products are notorious for having faulty keyboards, especially the punctuation keys. If you need proof, take a quick look at gazza right here.

I always hear that people should satay away from HP because Laptops are awful. Never had any issues with multiple I've owned and used over the years. As with every every other brand you will get some laptops that are crap and will fail. That's electronics....
This should be obvious....

Doesn't it depend if you actually buy one made by Lenovo rather than one with a Lenovo badge stuck on it like this one?

Wasn't this available for £399 from John Lewis not too long ago?
Edit: Never mind that was i3.

Yeah like you said was an i3... and only 4gb ram... so for extra 100 you get extra 4gb ram and faster processor. Shame I dont have and extra £100! The laptop so far is excellent - once you unistall mcCaffeen
Touchpad is a bit of a pain however. And battery life is a mere 2.5 hours!
