One of the new Last Jedi sets released on Force Friday II, which for some reason has had a hefty discount quite early on via Hamleys through Amazon.co.uk. Although I've checked the actual Hamleys website, and there's no discount there.
On sale here for £100, with £5.50 for postage. Normally £129.99, although I've seen it for around £120 in a couple of other places.

Aaaaah man. I've think I'll have to bite this as I don't reckon it'll be any cheaper before Xmas. My son wants this!

I know that feeling. Force Friday bit me, then they announced they're retiring the Palace Cinema. Then there's the two Christmas sets (I didn't get last year's train, and I don't want the station without the train!). I at least want a new freebie before buying anything new directly!

It has a hefty discount already, because it is an abomination. Please don't buy this and let them think people want it. The Falcon is £90 on Amazon, get it instead.

Why? It's the nearest you'll get to AT-AT walker without paying the inflated prices now it's a retired product. This is the top-end Lego release for The Last Jedi and is this movie's 'Falcon equivalent' in terms of Lego pricing. Granted, it's a poorly re-hashed AT-AT but it's still a great price if you want a similar Lego piece, surely?

If the nearest I'd get to a Ferrari was a Fiat Uno 900 Fire, I'd pass. Yes I get what you are saying but seriously look at this steaming pile of an excuse. The front legs, the overall stud exposure, that awful gun on the top, need I go on.
Then let us be honest, if you look at this and don't see then fans have clearly become the cash cow we've come to be expected as.

Arrived 3 days ago, opened it up today to check it and they've mistakenly sent the resistance bomber! :astonished:

Well here's hoping they tell you to keep it and ship out the right item!

:joy: No chance! I've been instructed to take it to my local post office and get a proof of postage certificate. IF they have any stock they'll ship the correct item and if not - it's refund time.

Ditto here - they wouldn't believe me they had shipped the wrong item at first. I sent it back and they've given me a refund, even though I didn't want a refund, I wanted what I ordered but after numerous emails/phone calls, I didn't look like it was going to happen. I've noticed Amazon are no longer offering it fulfilled via Hamleys. Ordered again last night from Amazon (fulfilled by Amazon) for £110, so an extrs £4.50 but will at least end up with the right set and due here tomorrow.
