Seen silimar ones on Amazon, anyone got one? Do they restrict water flow considerably?

I once had one in an overhead drencher shower, not saying this is the same but I thought it was noisy with the water spinning the internal turbine to generate power..... Brightness wasn't that good either.

I got one like this a couple of years ago from aliexpress for about £5, works well, never had any issues with it.

Can't you just check the temperature?

I have one of these and it starts blue "cold", turns purple for "warm" and red for "hot". That said it is VERY slow to react.
This may be because where I live is a very hard water area, the shower head came with the shower (I'm renting) and I bathed it in
descaler which cleared all the nozzles, maybe the sensor wasn't descaled, but it doesn't change until I'm half-way through showering, so it is a vanity item and of little practical value from my point of view.
Also the water flow doesn't come out with much force either, so I am looking for a replacement.
