Always looking for ways to use up my no rush credit, recentish film with a 7.7 imdb in hd seems pretty good.

No exaggeration the worst film I've ever seen.

No exaggeration one of the better films that I've seen in ages.

I would agree BUT my 11 year old son loved it.

Put me in the "I don't get all the fuss" column. I watched it a 2nd time recently just to make sure I wasn't in a bad mood or something when I first watched it. But nah I still find it really average - especially the humour (I can't remember a single vaguely humourous moment).

Enjoyed it very much until the final part whre they go and get the bad guy. It just got silly then.

It was silly from the opening credits. It's a silly film. It's not meant to be serious............I hope.

Yes, its a silly film. I felt the balance was just right up until the final scenes, where the silliness got just too much!

one thing to watch here is the TV version edited out the persistent use of the c*** word that was in the original release i saw that very much spoiled the film for me, but quite enjoyed the TV version. Simply no need to have every other word c*** this and c**** that, I am not averse to bad language but all language should have a point someone higher than making a 12yr old boy giggle

Is this movie good?

@peaceboi It's a great movie , I'd compare it to James Bond but a little less serious
The new one isn't supposed to be as good but I think this set the bar rather high
8.5/10

Overall, I enjoyed the first one, apart from that puerile, misogynistic final gag, but I'm glad I read a review in time to abandon my plan to see the sequel. Definitely a wait for TV film, for me.

It is like JB meets grange hill ,a bloody awful totally predictable film! chase fight, chase fight, big fight the end!! wow it could be any of 1000 other films no imagination a few knives, grenades and head shots and the kids are happy???? Also it was on channel 4 for free the other day and that was to expensive I want the elctricity back that powered the tv!!

Good deal. Superb film from start to end. Stylish with strong performances...and that knowingly troublesome anarchic streak  More rewatchable than the new one based on one viewing.
Matthew Vaughn has a few films now that score very highly with me.

@thomasleep If you thought that little of this then I'd be interested to hear what films yoy actually do like
