Thanks. I got some 7mm and 6mm from b&q Erdington last week.

Spotted these a few weeks ago to be honest.
Worrying all the same size - SDS drill bits rarely break in my experience so why all the same size?!
Just saying

If you ever find an everlasting masonry bit, let me and the dragons know. It's a consumable.

Aye' I think you may have misunderstood my comment or it was misleading - put another way why would anybody want to buy 10 of the same size SDS drill bits.
Could be a quality issue?
I added heat btw - comment is an observation - don't get confused now and £3 well it's a bargain

If your doing the odd bit of DIY just buy a set varying sizes, if your drilling a lot of holes for brown plugs buy these. Or 5.5mm for red plugs.

This. Trades get through bits like there's no tomorrow, not a quality issue. If these were 5.5 I'd be stocking up

They have standard 5.5 in stock £2 for 10. SDS 5.5 are limited stock but some stores have them, worth checking your nearest stores, diy.com/dep…prd

Looks like I've got about 5 years worth of sds bits for £8 amongst that lot.
