Ive always been told to go for a condenser dryer over a vented model, however, having owned one I've not once had to empty any water out of the drawer simply because i don't put fully wet clothes in it. So I should have just saved my money and got something like this instead

you might want to check that the drain pipe on the back of the dryer is connected properly, as it might be leaking on to the floor. Hence the drawer never fills.

What is the difference between a vented and condensor tumble drier? What are the pros and cons of both?

Vented, usually product is cheaper. Doesn't need any plumbing or the need to empty a bottle. Requires a vent pipe, which usually means a hole in the wall, or throwing the vent pipe out of the window (which is not great) and might not work if theres a bit of a distance to your window
Condensing, No vent required, which means you can install it anywhere. can be of higher efficiency (not 100% sure on that) Heat goes back in to room. Can be drained in to washing machine waste.

Vented dry clothes a lot faster than condensers. Condensers circle the warm humid air around the cooling parts of the machine, these parts get full of fluff ( hence the monthly cleaning of the bottom pull out condenser) so dont do as well as vented, which just throw the humid air out of the vent at the back. Vented all the way!!!! Voted Hot
Good machine, bought the same one a few months ago when it was just under £125, when there was a glitch and it allowed two codes to be used. on Tesco
