I recently purchased this from Amazon for £465, but then noticed that Laptops Direct have it priced at £459.97. If you are willing to take out a trial with Which for £1, you will instantly be sent a £15 off discount code, which effectively brings to price down to £444.97. Clearly, you should look to cancel the trial right away to avoid being charged a month's subscription later down the line. I've provided the link to the Which offer below:
Free delivery is also offered of you don't mind waiting up to a week.
Although Amazon have increased their price to over the £500 mark, other retailers such as CCL still have it in stock for £465 making this the cheapest price for this particular card on the internet right now.

1070 ti ... seems to be having a nice effect on 1080 stock clearance.

What is NVidia’s logic behind the 1070ti? If it’s as fast as the 1080 but cheaper, aren’t they just crippling their 1080 sales?
Good price on this 1080 though despite the hoop jumping.
Was waiting for Black Friday to pick a 1080 up but wondered if Amazon would start raising the prices so they could offer a greater discount. Sell the 1080 on OCUK MM in Feb and pick up a 1180.

I think that the 1070 Ti is simply a marketting ploy to compete directly with the Vega 56. Also, they might have a bin of chips that don't quite pass 1080 QA and hence can become 1070Tis with a few defective cores disabled, but that latter point is speculation.

It also has less stream processors and the gpu runs at a lower clock speed.

A 1070 Ti with standard GDDR5 will be much more appealing to miners than a 1080, as GDDR5X isn't very suitable for cryptomining. Perhaps Nvidia are hoping to tap that market. Either way, I'd expect 1070 Ti prices to be very close to, or perhaps even higher than 1080 prices for that reason.

That's something that has never happened btw.
Bold prediction, almost surely not going to happen.

all depends on AMD pricing, they losing on every card with vega, but when the ti arrives they will have no option, or they concerntrate on the mining market

Would you prefer spending an extra £20 for the sake of having access to amazons amazing returns policy? Coil whine can be a problem with these cards, just a thought.

From what I read on web yesterday prices for GPU are about to rise. Retailers limited on stock. Distributers limited on stock. Nvida and Amd not willing to increase production. This could go on for months or years. AMD are pretty much selling everything they make at present. Maybe they should shift from low end market to high end market production?
