Oooh I really like the look of this, staying on the water in Venice, on a boat walking distance to St Mark's Square!
This is a nice little two night/3 day stay flying from London to Venice Marco Polo. The boat looks lovely, and 'rooms' or rather cabins have a small double and a single bed if you want to bring along another person (room cost is the same). Cabins also have their own bathroom which is compact - it is a boat after all, not a cruise liner! You also get a nice looking sweet continental breakfast included.
I think it's great value for Venice. Of course you can stay in Lido or Mestre cheaper or rooms with shared bathrooms, but I think this is a unique little break and for under £115pp it's a bargain.
Airport transfers additional cost, lots of options from private transfers to public transport which is cheap from Marco Polo.

Ryanair?! You have got to be joking! That is the airline that puts people on the same booking in different parts of the aircraft unless they pay extra, and Ryanair have cancelled 2,100 flights in the next six weeks.

They've already released the list of cancelled flights though haven't they?
I agree, it's naff they've started deliberately splitting you up if you haven't reserved seats but then unless you pay for a seat reservation it was never guaranteed. It's a budget airline and the flight is £20 return. My return train ticket from Crewe to London this week cost me £186 return and part of my outgoing journey was cancelled, had to wait over an hour for another train and then I was stood up with luggage the whole journey!

Aww, no one else did and I had a seat reservation too, but due to delays no one was moving! Stood next to the toilet for over an hour. And people think Ryanair is bad

Other services are bad too is not a good enough reason to justify bad services of another company - be it Ryanair or something else...
Good deal this one if you do end up getting it. What are cancellation charges for the boat?

Looking at the accommodation booking form, How on earth are two people going to fit in a small single bed?

It is a room with a double bed and one single bed too, so sleeps 3.

The boat would be doing well to get to the airport. RyanAir fly into Treviso I think. It's a fair way to Venice from there.
