Not bad, I bought tickets from East Midlands to Carcassonne for £27 each both ways at this date, but I can't find decent deal to rent a car. Why renting a car are is so expensive in France?

I think you need to add in city tax payable on arrival at the hotel

Yeah, like any holiday, package or DIY break in most of Europe I think they take it off you at the hotel.

Theres a potential 5.5% Quidco if you book both flights and hotel for £600 on ebookers so a possible £33 ehich more than covers the €30 or so city tax.

I don't think you can use the discount code then for the hotel - may be wrong.

We have been to Marjorie a a few years ago and the weather was Lovell and the sea warm - must have been as my wife even went in. We were lucky I suppose. Loads to do in Majorca even if 'resort is closed'.

remember weather and resort will be closing, I have daughter in Ibiza now been there since may and she went off to Ibiza down to buy a coat, she said its getting cold, weather varies one day to next, Saying that its a cracking price, I would look for a hotel to stay in good prices to be had and stay HB

Went last year and it was surprisingly still quite warm, hovering around 25 degrees, although the pools were quite cool.
Stayed at the Viva Sunrise right near to the Siesta ones, highly recommended. It was quiet, but I preferred it that way.
Can also recommend "The Bridge" bar for cheap meals and drinks. Most places will be closing on the last weekend in October but during the week I think a lot of places will still be open.
Just don't forget the mozzie spray if you go.

Great deal this..... Just a shame not from any London airport..... Do I book and set up a price alert with kayak and hope the flight prices drop
